How Alifan Art Gallery Started
It did not begin with a business plan.
It began with frustration, honestly. Anyone who has tried to find good Islamic wall art in Pakistan knows the experience. You either end up with something that looks like it came off a conveyor belt, thin frames, faded print, the kind of thing that starts looking tired after a few months. Or you go the custom route and spend weeks chasing someone down with no real idea of what you are going to receive at the end of it.
There was no reliable middle ground. No place you could go to, physically or online, and trust that what you were getting was made properly. That gap was obvious. We just decided to do something about it.
What Alifan Actually Is
We are a small team. That is important to say from the start because it affects everything we do.
We do not have a storage room filled with ready-made products waiting to be packaged and sent out. When we get an order for one of our luxury Islamic calligraphy frames or a piece from our exclusive Islamic art collection it is actually worked on by people. These are people who’re skilled and take the time to make sure everything is done correctly like making sure the gold leaf is, in the right place and the canvas is finished properly.
That is what our handmade art gallery is really like when you look behind the scenes. Slower than a print shop. More expensive to run. Worth it.
We specialise in Islamic calligraphy art and spiritual wall pieces, Quranic verses, duas, sacred phrases turned into art that belongs in homes. Not in hotels, not in offices trying to look cultural, in homes where people actually live and where those words mean something to them daily.
